“I Fix the Idea”

An Autobiographical work, depicting and reclaiming the Artists’ duty to physically intervene on the final work. A celebration of the interaction between the mental (Idea) and manual (Fisso/Fix) process; mind and hand working together to visualize and materialize any inspiration or commission.

Only through the connection between the 2 above the artist will infuse an added value to the Work, defining the sometimes blurred line between art and craft, between design and art, between decorative and fine art.

A manifesto to celebrate the Vision/genius of the Artist but also the materialization of it through manual skills and experience.
